Be safe out there everybody! If you need a soundtrack for the weekend’s activities, this playlist here is a good one to listen through!
Some fresh new sounds from one of our original Applied Physics beat scientists, Yoshi D! The Yunk EP hits on multiple genres while retaining all that Yoshi Demonz funk.
“Already having honoured us with the large compilation this year, Touched Music gives us a lovely little release to stop the hunger before the next one falls on our laps.
“Committed” by Just Jace is our present and what a lovely one it is too. A journey through the four tracks reveals a multitude of influences and displays clearly the artist’s confidence on what is being put down.
It refuses to adhere to any one formula, letting you experience pad-dominated relaxing beats before throwing you into modern takes on rave-stabs, nice simple techno beats and the feeling of 80s science fiction soundtracks. Everything is held together by the constant glide of melodies and well-structured phrasing.
This EP wouldn’t feel out of place if thrown in the middle of a Postman/AGT Rave Cru mix, and is certain to offer you something that you’re after.
As always, proceeds go to Macmillan Cancer Support, so get your copy today and support a great cause.”
Free to a good home or give what you can. Proceeds go to Macmillan Cancer Support – £38,000 raised and counting.
Cornhustle is happy to bring a very talented Kansas City Collective to our city for a 100% producer showcase…
All of the evening’s talent will be dropping 100% original music, so be prepared for unheard gems.

Old Skool Underground is proud to announce, Strangeland 2016 : Villages! That’s right! Strangeland is back for it’s fifth year, this time with a new twist and in a new venue! This year, Strangeland will be hosted at the beautiful Sokol Park on June 10th and 11th!
In lieu of one main stage, we will be providing 7 stages to explore during the day! Ran and operated by some of the best crews and companies the Midwest has to offer, these stages will act as “seeds” of sorts, for multiple villages scattered through the park! Pledge allegiance to your favorite, then spend the days of Strangeland wandering from village to village, each unique and each with it’s own flavor.
At night, join us at the indoor overnight stage, where the cream of the crop of the region’s best bands and music artists take you into the morning with music from many different genres.
Strangeland has always been about bringing together the area’s best, as well as spotlighting the so often overlooked talent overflowing the Midwest. You will not find another event with this many local and regional artists showcased. Period.
Admission includes two days camping, and access to over 60 live music acts over 6 Stages.
Food vendors will be onsite, but we welcome you to provide your own food and drink.
Purchase of a pre-sale ticket entitles you to early entry to the park on June 9th to set up camp and get settled. You are welcome to camp a day early if you please.
This is a 18+ event.
Must be 21+ to drink. (This will be strictly enforced! Any minor caught in possession of alcohol, will be ejected from the park with no refund and may also face prosecution.)
Pre-Sale – $40
